Ask about your routes in the chat you already use
Use Claude or ChatGPT to find a walk or ride among your saved routes. Ask in your own words for routes near home, how hilly they are and how long they'll take you, and see them on a map right in the chat.

What to ask
Ask the way you'd ask a friend
It knows your saved routes and the walks and rides you've done on them, where home is if you've set it, and how fast you usually go once it has seen a few of your outings. So you don't need to explain any of it.
- “A bike ride under 2 hours starting near Marche.” Routes by where they start, how long and how hilly they are, and how long they'll take you.
- “Which walks haven't I done since spring?” When you last did each one.
- “Tell me about the Harsin loop.” Its climbs, how long it took you before, and similar routes nearby.
- “How far did I ride in September?” Your totals by week, month or year.
- “Put three easy gravel rides near Durbuy in a collection for the weekend.” If you let it, it makes and arranges collections for you.
It looks, and only touches what you allow
- You decide. The first time, Claude or ChatGPT sends you to rutefold to sign in and say yes, and whether it may make and change collections.
- Your routes stay as they are. It can't edit, delete or share your routes in rutefold.
- You can stop it any time. Under Connected apps in your rutefold account.
- What Claude or ChatGPT sees to answer you is covered by its own privacy policy. Here's rutefold's.
How to connect
You need a rutefold account with a few routes in it. Then copy this address, and follow the steps for your chat app:
Claude
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector, call it rutefold and paste the address above.
- Choose Connect, sign in to rutefold and choose Allow.
- In a chat, click + and switch rutefold on under Connectors.
Once added, it works in the Claude app on your computer and phone too.
ChatGPT
- On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT asks for it to add apps that aren't in its own list yet.
- Open Plugins, choose +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Call it rutefold, paste the address above and create it.
- Sign in to rutefold and choose Allow.
- In a chat, pick rutefold from the + menu.
This needs a paid ChatGPT plan and works on chatgpt.com, not in the app. On a work or team account, Developer mode is under Settings, Apps, Advanced settings.
